I am writing to express my interest in the Senior Front-End Designer and Web Developer role. With over a decade of experience in design and development, including several years as a Digital Designer at Confused.com, I have had the opportunity to lead and support teams across departments to deliver creative and technical solutions.

Whilst at Confused com, I worked closely with stakeholders, email, and marketing teams to produce a range of B2B and B2C projects. These included managing and leading visuals and development for large budget, high-visibility display marketing campaigns in collaboration with MSN and Google (DoubleClick), direct-mail advertising, email, micro-site design, branding and assets for nationally broadcast television adverts.

With this experience, and a passion for WordPress and front-end development, I pursued a position in-between design and development. This led to a front-end designer role where I developed my skills in front-end code and WordPress development.

I have since delivered front-end and back-end solutions for organisations and companies in the public and private sectors for a range of industries from motor-tourism to finance.

I have worked across various departments, regularly liaising with both internal and external teams, domestically and internationally, to interpret briefs and department’s objectives in achieving their project goals.

My WordPress expertise includes custom WordPress and WooCommerce theme development using PHP, website migration, the development of multi-site networks, security and maintenance and in-depth knowledge of leading industry plugins such as ACF, Gravity Forms, and RankMath SEO and more.

My front-end expertise includes writing accessible and semantic HTML, CSS (SCSS), JS, Vue, and React to build interactive microsites, tools/calculators and using animation libraries like GSAP and Three.js to create animated/3D interactive experiences.
